Khidmat-e-Awam Welfare Association (KAWA), a non-governmental organization (NGO), was founded in 1999 with the vision of eliminating poverty in District Sukkur, Pakistan. The association was officially registered on June 20, 2005. KAWA’s mission is to raise awareness of social and economic issues, particularly among impoverished communities. It aims to achieve this by providing low-cost education and training opportunities to people in rural areas. The organization’s objectives include a wide range of initiatives, from seminars and media campaigns to offering free medical camps, establishing vocational centers, and providing tangible support during emergencies such as floods. KAWA is committed to serving the public good and has undertaken numerous projects since its inception, including distributing essentials, providing support to schools, and assisting flood-affected people.
